How to Sell on Nextbook

👤Step 1: Sign Up and Set Up Your Account

Register on Nextbook with your email and set up your seller profile in just a few clicks. You can use the same email for both buying and selling. No need for separate accounts!

➕Step 2: List Your Book

a) EasyList Feature - Simply enter the ISBN, and our system will instantly fetch all book details like title, author, and cover image; saving you time and effort.

b) Set Your Price: Choose a competitive price based on the book’s condition, demand, and original retail price. A well-priced book is more likely to attract buyers.

Please note that we charge a flat AED 4 fee per book to support our services. For example, if you list your book at AED 4, this AED 4 goes to the platform. Therefore, if you'd like to earn from the sale, please consider pricing your item a bit higher. We thank you for your support and understanding!

c) Describe the Condition: Select from predefined conditions such as ‘Like New,’ ‘Very Good,’ ‘Good,’ or ‘Acceptable.’

d) Upload Photos (optional): Add clear, high-quality images of your book to attract buyers. Make sure to show the actual condition of the book to avoid misunderstandings.

e) Choose Delivery Option: Books are shipped using our designated courier service for a smooth and hassle-free experience. All functions, including printing shipping labels and tracking orders and deliveries, can be conveniently arranged through your Seller Account/Dashboard. You will receive a shipping label via email and Seller Account/Dashboard once someone orders from you and the order is confirmed.

📚Step 3: Manage Your Listings

Stay in control of your listings with ease. Get instant notifications when a buyer places an order, and manage your listings effortlessly. Edit, update, or remove your listings anytime from your Seller Account/Dashboard.

📦Step 4: Sell and Ship

a) Order Confirmed: When someone buys your book, you’ll receive an email with the order details. Once the order's confirmed, you can start preparing the book for shipping.

b) Pack Your Book Securely. Use packaging to protect the book during transit. A padded envelope or small box works best!

c) Print the Shipping Label. As soon as the shipping label becomes available, download and print it from your Seller Account/Dashboard.

d) Be Ready for Pickup. Once the label is printed, your courier partner will handle the delivery. Make sure your package is ready for pickup!

💰Step 5: Get Paid

We’ve made it easy for you to receive payouts through Ziina! To get started, just follow these steps:

a) Download the Ziina app (available on iPhone or Android)

b) Sign up for an account

c) Once you're set up, add your username/Ziiname to your Nextbook Seller Profile > Payment Methods so that we can process your payments!

Note: Payouts are sent on the 1st of each month. To receive your payout, you’ll need to have at least AED 50 in sales. If your balance is below 50 AED, no worries! It will carry over to the next month, and once you reach the 50 AED minimum, you’ll receive your payout. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

How much does it cost to sell on Nextbook?

Selling on Nextbook is FREE! We only charge a small AED 4 commission per book sold. This fee helps support our mission to create a sustainable platform where book lovers can connect and share their books with others, making it possible for us to keep improving and maintaining the site. Thank you for supporting this initiative!

How do I ship the book?

All books are shipped through our trusted courier partner for a seamless experience. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive the shipping label via email and on your Seller Account/Dashboard. Just print the label, attach it to your book, and our courier partner will take care of the rest.

When will I receive my payment?

Payouts on Nextbook are processed through Ziina for faster, secure, and efficient transactions. To receive payments, simply create a Ziina account and add your Ziina username/Ziiname to your Seller Profile. Once that's set up, payouts will be processed on the 1st of each month with a minimum threshold of 50 AED.

As a seller on Nextbook AE, adhering to the following rules is essential for ensuring a positive experience. Please read these guidelines carefully:

1. Account Setup

Sellers must create a complete and accurate account, including name, contact details, and payment information. It is the seller's responsibility to keep their account information up-to-date.

2. Product Listings

All products must be accurately described, including specifications, pricing, and images. Sellers are prohibited from listing counterfeit or illegal items; only genuine products should be sold. Kindly ensure that all product images are high-quality and represent the actual product being sold.

3. Pricing

We recommend setting prices that are both appealing to buyers and reflect your book's quality and market value. To help keep our platform running smoothly, Nextbook charges a small fixed commission of AED 4 per book sold. Additionally, buyers will pay a flat delivery fee of AED 15 for orders up to 5kg, regardless of their location in the UAE!

4. Order Fulfillment

5. Returns and Refunds

As a secondhand book platform, all sales on Nextbook AE are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds, as buyers are encouraged to embrace the unique character of pre-loved books. 6. Customer Communication

Buyers will reach out to us directly for any inquiries or issues regarding your listing or order. Once we receive their message, we’ll forward the details to you for prompt resolution. Please ensure you respond quickly to maintain a smooth and professional process.

Sellers are expected to comply with relevant laws and regulations related to their products and sales practices, as applicable.

8. Prohibited Activities

Engaging in fraudulent activities, including false advertising, scams, or harassment of customers, is strictly prohibited. Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.
